HVAC Technician – Watford City, ND

Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional on-call

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team in Watford City, ND. This role supports residential, commercial, and light industrial customers by performing installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system issues, electrical components, and controls.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Document work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
• Work independently while maintaining clear communication with customers and supervisors.
• Follow all company and industry safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to work outside in varying North Dakota weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical tasks related to HVAC service.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigeration Certification (Required).
• HVAC certification or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Must supply own hand tools (company provides specialty tools).
